How
Do You Have So Much Enthusiasm?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My Dear Gurudeva,
Please accept my respectful obeisances to you. All Glories
to Srila Prabhupada.
Gurudeva, you travel all over the world. You must have seen
so many chaotic, and miserable bodies, and souls that are
completely drowned in this material desires. I often wonder,
what a difficult task is being undertaken, by you and others
in ISKCON. I can only wish and pray to Sri Hari, that may He
bless you all with his mercy and strength to save as many
souls as could be possible, by making them Krishna
conscious.
Gurudeva, don't you ever get tired or fatigued, by such long
journeys and constant traveling? How do you have so much
enthusiasm, and where do you get this energy from? Do you
never get troubled by any soul that might show his
disregards towards Sri Hari? I am sure you must have come
across lots of such fallen souls who openly criticize Sri
Krishna. Don't you feel irritated when somebody says bad
about our beloved Sri Hari? How do you keep yourself so
balanced in all situations? You travel so much, but you
still get time to reply to your distant disciples' emails.
This is just incomprehensible for me.
So please accept my obeisances and please give me your
blessings so that I will remain fixed on the devotional path
of Krishna bhakti.
A honestly surrendered soul and disciple of yours,
Saurabh Jog

My Dear Saurabh,
Please accept my blessings. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
Yes, sometimes we become physically exhausted and must rest.
My enthusiasm is a blessing from Srila Prabhupada. He
ordered me to always be enthusiastic. We try to present
Krishna so attractively with the most intelligent and
thoroughly honest marketing strategies so that everyone will
want to become His devotee.
Actually everyone does want to surrender to Krishna. It's
just that they have forgotten their eternal relationship
with Him. If they are reminded in a compassionate way they
will gladly resume their original identity.
We may be irritated but we respond with love and compassion
acting under the power and blessings of the previous
acharyas. This destroys any irritation that we may feel and
destroys their irritation too.
Hoping this meets you in good health and in a cheerful mood,
Your eternal well-wisher,
Sankarshan Das Adhikari
